TAP, Inc. has been treating and recycling wastewater in the Greater Houston area and throughout Texas since 1992. You could say wastewater recycling is a passion in our organization. From the development of the first ever, patented, closed loop water blasting system (The Vaxjet) to our state of the art wastewater treatment plant (Big K Environmental) we are committed to conserving and preserving our State’s most precious resource.

Our top management has over 40 years of liquid waste hauling experience in Texas. TAP Environmental was created and added to the corporate family in 2007. TAP Environmental specializes in grease trap cleaning and currently serves the greater Houston area.

In 2006 the City of Houston began enforcing the State of Texas’ storm water run off regulations. Millions of gallons of contaminated wastewater run off from pressure washing companies had been flowing directly into Galveston Bay from storm drains and bayous in the greater Houston area. We are proud of the fact that we have the largest closed-loop water blasting fleet in Texas, right here in Houston. Our goal and philosophy is to continue to preserve our Texas waterways with our Friendly Blasters, inc. (FBI) division of Vaxjet trucks.

Big K Environmental is a Houston area State permitted Type V Municipal Solid Waste Facility. We are currently seeking an amendment to our State permit to treat grease trap waste at our facility. What this means to the restaurateurs and facility manager, is confidence that the grease trap waste (interceptor waste) removed from your location, is only handled by TAP.
